The Mod Maidens are a group of gamers who also enjoy writing comedy and romance stories based upon The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game from Bethseda is truly amazing in so many ways. It’s one of the most beautiful games we have seen, add some mod magic and watch a new world open up.
While the game has been out for several years now it is very much alive and that credit goes to the modding community. The modders are truly exceptional in their dedication and desire to improve the game. They have provided players with abilities to change their game in many ways, from additional content, more homes, and new quests to overall gaming improvements.
At heart of Mod Maidens is one mod called OBIS – Organized Bandits in Skyrim by Indigoblade that was the core factor of the website. If you play Skyrim then this one mod is a must have with its creativity and well designed bandits. With this mod mixed in with other others the story Skyrim and the Bandit Hunt was developed. In the Skyrim modding community, the ideas and creations of mods by other players are amazing. They allow you to build a Skyrim to your taste and play style. From hard-core to the very delicate, the player can create their game in many ways based upon the various mods that are available. This has been a developing story involving the wild west bandits Mr. Indigoblade has unleashed upon Skyrim and one ex-bandit found in Riften that involve many other mods.
We make references to other mods during the story and use custom followers, such as Vilja and Anna NPCs as group members. Even standard followers such as Nikolai are included. A lot of the twists and turns in the story are based on Skyrim and custom voiced followers but with different results. Please note that if you do not play Skyrim, the humor and references in the story will probably not make sense. Players of Skyrim, at least we hope, should recognize the craziness and humor of it.
Skyrim and the Bandit Hunt is the first complete book of the series. There are currently two other stories being worked on and parts of those are available now with more chapters to be added. Loose journal pages are short notes written by various characters. The stories are told based upon adventures in Skyrim using player made mods so we hope you will enjoy reading them. In addition, we do write short tales as part of our way of featuring mods, all done in the good spirit and fun. There are some videos and voice clips that the Mod Maidens have done and with many references to our story ‘Skyrim and the Bandit Hunt.’
Not only did Indigoblade embrace us but his entire team and friends did as well. These important individuals share our front page because without them Mod Maidens would not exist. Well, Thrynn might be happy if that had happened….
But what can we say about Tonycubed2 and his warm welcome to us into his community to bridge together a love for Skyrim. His team will keep you hopping with all their critters and combined with OBIS sprinkled with some sweet loot from Forzane and treasure hunting by Jebbalon. The beautiful artwork of the Mod Maidens was done by GhostAgent who designed and picked the music for our pages there. It was a wonderful surprise when the SoT team unveiled it to us. But wait! There is even more with another important “must have” OBIS add on. Forzane has showered OBIS bandits with goodies that makes it so much easier to rob from them when they are dead. We all know a good bandit is an OBIS bandit carrying the loot!
For another important and vital member of the SoT and OBIS teams is Jebbalon, the guru of Skyrim. He has a treasure hunt mod that is always in our load orders and one day that treasure chest will be ours!
The Mod Maidens love these players and modders for their friendship, continual support and hours of play within the land of Skyrim. Many tales still wait to be told…

We do not offer the mods as downloads. Please obtain them in the same method used by the Mod Maidens. There are other sites that mods can be obtained from but these are the main two we reference. We use Legendary Edition of Skyrim so all our games contain Dawnguard, HearthFires and Dragonborn included. Your games might not contain all the expansions so be aware of the requirements per mod when selecting them to try.
