You will want to be sure to get your mods for the right version before adding them to your game. Old or new mods are popping up daily for the Special Edition so the modding community is busy working for the players. So glad to see many original Skyrim mods being updated for the new version. Always read the author’s mod description so you don’t download a mod that doesn’t work with your game.

Unless we specify a mod is for the Skyrim Special Edition version, featured mods will be for the Skyrim Legendary version. The three DCL’s, Dawnguard, HearthFires and Dragonborn, are included with the Special Edition. They will have to be bought separately for the original Skyrim unless the Legendary version is purchased, which has the three expansions included.
