Not everyone in Skyrim is essential and they can die so it’s handy to have a spell that brings them back to life. It’s heartbreaking to enter Whiterun at night and see Nazeem dead from an vampire attack. As with any magicka being used one must take caution when casting it since this one can reset inventory whether the NPC is dead or alive.
