This really is a beautiful tree and you have two choices in how to fix that half-breed stump in Whiterun. There is one custom follower mod that we know of that will help out should Maurice Jondrelle not make it. We won’t giveaway the secrets to the quest but in the end you get a beautiful tree if you help revive it.
